Upon graduating High School I joined the Army and they trained me to become a Respiratory Therapist. I practiced as a Respiratory Therapist for eight years prior to medical school. I am now a practicing Emergency Medicine Physician.

My father taught me that any smart person can take a simple concept and make it seem complicated; a great teacher can take a complicated subject and make it seem simple.

Ventilator management has been made into a complicated subject, but it can be simplified. This site is my attempt to break down ventilator management into five minute morsels that can be easily digested.
